How to set up a proxy on Chrome browser

Open the Chrome browser and go to settings.

Next, navigate to the "System" tab and select the option "Open your computer's proxy settings."

Now, you will need to configure the proxy settings.

The further setup process slightly differs depending on your operating system, whether it's Windows or macOS.

Windows

Choose to use a proxy server, enter the address and port of your proxy, and select the option "Don't use the proxy server for your local (intranet) addresses."

Then, return to the browser, and when attempting to connect to a website, you will need to enter the username and password of your proxy.

All this data is stored in your account and is typically in the format Host:Port:Login:Password).

macOS

Select the HTTP connection protocol and enter your proxy details.

After entering the details, click the "OK" button.

Once this setup is complete, your browser will use the proxy when connecting.
